Jean Henri FabreFabre, Jean Henri Casimir (1823-1915), French naturalist.

Jean Henri Fabre was a teacher, but he lost his job for allowing girls to attend his science classes.

He spent all his life studying insects and spiders in gardens and fields, and wrote a large ten-volume encyclopedia about insects.

He continued his work almost up to the time of his death at the age of ninety-two.
