Oliver Hardy was the larger man of Laurel and Hardy duo. They began working together in short films in 1926. In most of them, Laurel landed Hardy in 'another fine mess' to the amusement of audiences all over the world. They made more than fifty short films and then made a famous series of full-length movies including Babes in Toyland (1934) and Way out West (1937).
